About Us
Who are the Johnsons?
Jeremiah and Felicia have been married for over 25 years and have eight children. Despite being in the Army for the last 16 years, we have managed to give our kids some farm life everywhere we go. We have finally settled down on our small mini-homestead in New Mexico and are excited to share our homestead with you!

We are all about using the gifts God gave us to provide for our family. One of those gifts is hard work and I pray it is a gift I can pass on to my children. Homesteading in the desert has its challenges, but it is a beautiful place to call home.Â
“He waters the hills from His upper chambers; The earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works. He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and vegetation for the service of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread which strengthens man’s heart.”
~Psalms 104:13-14

Like what you see?
This website and this little farm is a labor of love. If we have blessed you in some way and you would like to give back, this is your opportunity. While the farm sales help pay for feed, it doesn’t cover the upkeep and new builds. We are starting to collect supplies for a series of chicken coops and duck homes. If you would like to chip in, click the link below. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.Â
For every donation we will place a stepping stone or wall plank (your choice) with your favorite scripture verse in and around our chicken houses.Â
What We’re All About

Fresh Organic Eggs
We feed our chickens organic feed and our food scraps, although not all the scraps are organic. We strive to have happy chickens and have several breeds with varying egg colors.Â

Handmade Artisanal Goods
Depending on what’s available, we have homemade breads, pastas, soap, lotions, chicken aprons, tote bags, and canned goods.Â

Seasonal Availability
Each season brings with it changing weather and changing products. Baby goats are born early spring and late fall, eggs are more abundant in the warmer months, and plants are available early spring.Â

Education
As a homeschool family, we love educating others as well. There will be resources available soon as well as farm days. Please join our email list to stay up to date on happenings around the homestead.Â

Stay Connected
Let’s stay connected and you will get first notice of any changes or available products at the Storybook Homestead. We promise not to be spammy and only send important updates!
