This was our fastest flip. We bought, remodeled, and sold this house in 15 months. It was a fun flip, but my kids were glad when we moved back to the country. City life wasn’t for my country kids.

Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures of the front room before we remodeled. We didn’t do a lot to this room though. We painted and hung curtains.

The living room was not super roomy, but we made it work. The fireplace was  my favorite part. I cleaned up the brick and removed the 80’s brass fire screen and replaced it with this beautiful gate. We also got rid of the awful wood paneling. We also lost the window and door on either side of the fireplace, giving the living room a cozy feel.

The dining room was between the living room and kitchen, but because there was a walkway in the middle, it left us with a wide open place. We replaced the weird wall with a half wall and built in shelving unit. My favorite feature in this room.

The kitchen, always a crucial part to any remodel and the heart of the home, was such a fun project! We removed the hanging upper cabinets and replaced them with some open shelving. The shelves were made out of wood from Ruidoso, NM, and sturdy enough to hold 50+ pounds. We installed butcher block counter tops, new sink and faucet, painted cabinets and installed the beautiful tile backsplash. So happy with how this turned out. I even had enough space to add my coffee nook! My favorite part of this whole kitchen was the swinging doors with placed between the kitchen and the laundry room. It was a tight fit and this worked perfectly.

We didn’t do much to the kids rooms. One of them got new carpet and new closet doors.

Master bedroom started out with pink carpet and an outdated master bath. The pink carpet was one of the first things to go and I really loved this space. The master had this vanity area between the bedroom and master bathroom, it got a total overhaul as well.

The Aggie House had this huge sunroom in the back and it was hte busiest room of the house. It was open, all windows, and had a huge hot tub. We added over 20′ of bench seating and a corner built in for storage. The hot tub had to go and we opened up the bay window into a cased opening.Â
